The 3-1 Houston Texans are set to face the 3-1 Buffalo Bills this Sunday at home. If the Texans want to be taken seriously in the AFC, they need to show up in this tough matchup.

Here is a look at Thursday’s Houston Texans injury report:

DID NOT PARTICIPATE:

  • Defensive End Derek Barnett (Shoulder)
  • Running Back Dameon Pierce (Hamstring)
  • Running Back Joe Mixon (Ankle)
  • Offensive Tackle Blake Fisher (Illness)
  • Linebacker Jake Hansen (Back)
  • Wide Receiver Robert Woods (Foot)
  • Defensive End Jerry Hughes (Hip)

LIMITED PARTICIPATION:

  • Wide Receiver Tank Dell (Chest)
  • Safety Jimmie Ward (Groin)
  • Right Tackle Tytus Howard (Hamstring)
  • Center Juice Scruggs (Hip)
  • Left Tackle Laremy Tunsil (Ankle)

FULL PARTICIPATION:

  • Defensive Tackle Kurt Hinish (Calf)
  • Defensive End Dylan Horton (Illness)

The Texans could be without their starting running back Joe Mixon for the third week in a row, due to the ankle injury he suffered in week two. Mixon will likely be a game-time decision.

The good news is that Houston is likely to get their starting wide receiver in Tank Dell back from a painful chest injury. Dell has all the talent in the world, but has gotten off to a slow start compared to his impressive rookie season.

Houston needs all the help they can get against a talented Bills team that is looking to bounce back after an embarrassing loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
