Bears vs. Texans Inactives: Scruggs, Pierce, Metchie out for SNF

Kickoff for Sunday Night Football still is about an hour and a half away, but your Houston Texans, and the Chicago Bears too, I guess, have released their list of inactives for today’s game.

Here’s who won’t be suiting up for tonight’s game:

LB Rashad Weaver

We knew Scruggs was going to be a scratch from reports earlier today, and Pierce is dealing with an injured hamstring, but Metchie being a healthy scratch is a bit of a surprise.

Chicago Bears

LB Noah Sewell
FB Khari Blasingame
DL Dominique Robinson

The most notable name being out for tonight is Keenan Allen, the Bears’ big free agent signing. The Bears offense last week wasn’t the most impressive unit in the world, so losing a key piece of the receiver corps could spell trouble for the Bears early.
